panels and materials

Durapalm paneling is constructed of strips from reclaimed plantation-grown palms that are precision milled and applied to a thin fabric backing with non-toxic white glue. It is available unfinished or with a satin water-based polyurethane and has a Class B fire resistence classification.

Environ manufactures a variety of earth-friendly products, including msDor™ core proprietary non-rated and fire-rated door core panels, MICROSTRAND™ commodity wheat panels, Dakota Burl® decorative panels made from sunflower hulls, and BIOFIBER™ Wheat decorative panels made from select wheat straw.

Kirei board, coco tiles and wheatboard are manufactured using reclaimed agricultural fiber from sorghum, coconut and wheat plants grown around the world for food. After harvest the stalks or coconut husks are usually burned or thrown into landfills. By using them in the production of Kirei, this material is removed from the waste stream, reducing landfill use and air pollution. Rapidly renewable or FSC-certified woods are used as bonding strips, and all Kirei features low-or no-added urea formaldehyde adhesives to minimize formaldehyde emissions.

Mythic Paint is a non-toxic, ultra low odor paint that provides the durability and coverage you expect from a premium paint without the off-gassing VOCs and cancer-causing toxins that emit years after drying. Available in a 1,232-color palette in both interior and exterior finishes, Mythic Paint can also be matched to any competitor's color. Due to its non-toxic composition, Mythic Paint is not required to carry a warning label.

Panel Source manufactures a variety of products from FSC-certified, urea formaldehyde-free, rapidly renewable, and recycled materials. These products include lumber, softwood and hardwood plywood, particleboard, MDF, door core, melamine panels, pressure-treated products, and fire retardant products.

Plyboo sheet goods are derived from Moso bamboo harvested from a forest that requires no irrigation or pesticides. The company has longstanding, direct relationships with the farmers of its Moso forests and holds tight control over its two manufacturing facilities to ensure quality control and environmentally healthy production processes. In 2007, Plyboo converted its manufacturing operations to produce no added urea-formaldehyde products. All Plyboo products comply with the California Air Resources Board’s (CARB) strictest formaldehyde regulations for composite panels.
